Sometimes I like to use faux paper textures but I often lose track of where I got the texture and I feel guilty about having to credit the right person and blah blah blah so I figured it was high time to start creating my own library of scanned textures.
Then I thought to myself, "Maybe everyone would like to be able to use random paper textures without worrying about where they came from or who they have to credit!"
SO HERE YOU GO GUYS, the opening salvo of Project Gather Textures... FREE for you to take without any requirements whatsoever!
You can download this pack and use it willy-nilly however you like without ever having to look back or wonder where the heck you got it. Never need to credit your source or think of me again! As I gather more textures I'll post 'em!
This pack contains some scans from a [disintegrating] copy of a 1932 edition Webster's dictionary that I got at an estate sale for a dead old neighbor lady! I included a few pages that highlight how dated it is. (World population: 1.7 billion! Only one World War! Television, a new invention!)
I write too much in these Artist's Comments sections. Blah blah blah! Haha!
New deals posted everyday, starting Black Friday and running through the holiday season! No hassles, no lines - just awesome savings on art, deviantWEAR, Premium Memberships and more!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This is YOUR opportunity to mock, ridicule and generally take great delight and amusement whilst poking fun at the beloved Volunteers and Staff of deviantART.
