Oh look, sloppy, uncolored pencil sketches! I'm a DeviantArt star! :star:

A few people in my neighborhood, let me show you them.

I love people watching. People are very entertaining, with their idiosyncrasies and peculiarities unique to each individual. Sometimes after seeing someone interesting I have to do a quick doodle of them into my pocket sketchbook.

It is only considered voyeurism if they catching you spying on them. From the bushes. In the dark.

EDIT: I learned from my mother who learned from Short-shorts lady that Tai-Chi Stroke Guy got put into a nursing home by his kids. So he's no longer out there on his porch. Just FYI.

Number 1 in my 100 Theme series! Only 99 more to go! Hooha!

I'm so glad you're doing your themes! And this is such an interesting start. I really like the little quirks of the people in your neighborhood, it's so interesting and the way you put them together is really awesome.

I really liked the uniqueness and stories of all of them, but I think short-shorts was my favorite just from the "too crazy it has to be true" quality of it.

Really great job capturing different people.

This is great. My lecturer used to tell us to go out and observe people, but we never do that. >.> Good practice though.

Gotta love the short shorts one though. :giggle: Reminds me of the wealthy older women I've seen around the mall. Brr...

I love people watching. I think a lot of people could benefit from taking the time to people watch. I have never thought to doodle them before, however, and am jealous that you did. My usual thing is to go out to dinner with the boyfriend and then explain the surrounding diners' life stories to him after a few glances. I need to take my sketchpad next time. I heart that balloon dog.

Those are very interesting :D And you're lucky if you can draw them without having them yelling at you! I can never draw people when I see them, makes me wish I had those camera glasses like in the first Mission: Impossible movie.

There will be more like those sketches, right?
